A good reason to blog

One good reason to blog in my opinion is that you can't be interrupted. Many things out there are irritating, but one of the top ones is being interrupted. People somehow don't understand the dynamics of conversation. My response to that is I don't give them the pleasure of my conversation and simply move out away from their proximity.

When one expresses themselves in print or online, there's no way to interrupt the written word so it's a good way to get your thoughts across. Not coincidentally, those that interrupt the most are also the least likely to read. It's no surprise that these highly opinionated know it alls don't need to hear what anyone else says because well, they know it all. They are no doubt vociferous in their opinions and never consider facts. Another trait I have noticed (besides a lack of intellect) is that these people rarely ask questions. Naturally, if they know it all, why should they? Asking questions means that someone wants to fin…

Behind every successful man is a woman.

I came across this quote yet once again but this time it hit me that this is a very true statement. However, I would venture to go even further and say that behind every successful men are LOTS of women.

$uccess drives many women into the arms of ambitiou$ men. It's easy to want but what about men before they become successful? Usually, nobody cares about that. Everyone only cares about it when you're successful. If you're not famous or well known, you don't exist. Those seems to be the only criteria for being successful in today's society. $uccess is measured not by what's in your mind but what's in your wallet. Monetary gains are what society deems as the paragon of success. However, if you let society define what constitutes personal success you will be sorely disappointed. The only person that can define success for you is yourself. It is your standard of success that you should aim to strive for and not that of others. It's too easy to want to befr…

Is it a relationship or an arrangement?

There are times when one must wonder whether their current situation is actually a relationship or an arrangement? If you're with someone you should look closely at why you're in that relationship and also consider your partner's perspective as to why he/she is with you. Many times, one partner thinks it's a relationship, while the other sees it as an arrangement. In such a case, both partners don't see the situation equally and will be equally disappointed at the outcome.

Many cases of "relationships" are not really relationships, but rather arrangements. However, it's not too romantic to think of them as arrangements, so they're often labeled as a relationship for convenience's sake. As they portray this "relationship" to the outside world, they put up a fascade in an attempt to delude others, whereby they unknowingly and sometimes, knowingly deceive themselves into thinking it is a relationship and not what it really is; an arrange…

The best productivity app

The best productivity app is the power button.

Once you turn it off you are able to be more productive.

It's always tempting to try and find the next app that will track screen time or other usage metrics but then you'll spend time looking at those metrics and this spending more time on that app. So if you did happen to save some time you'll spend this surplus time on the app.

If you want to be more productive just turn off your phone. Set a specific schedule where if you want to get something done within a time frame, you turn off your phone. This way you get into the habit of turning off your phone and getting more done. The phone can be both a blessing and a curse. It's up to you how you use it that determines this.

Everything will be right back to where it was once you turn on your phone. The more took look at your phone and check it,the more you will want to do it. The more you turn it off, the less attached you will be to it.

How to get web traffic II

Previously I talked about how you should write for yourself. I realized I didn't answer the question. I only talked about why you shouldn't care. Therefore, I'll answer the question so I don't have a guilty conscience.

If you want to get visitors to your site and don't have a huge ad budget, try picking up an expired domain name with a lot of backlinks. Or you could try coming up with a domain name that users type into their browsers. Something someone might type into the URL bar to search for. Harnessing type in traffic is one way to get random people to your site without spending top dollar.

"One post a day".

Guess what, no more 1 post per day. If you have a topic you'd like me to discuss then go ahead and use the contact form. If I like the idea, I'll see what I can write about it from my perspective.

Other than that a quick post today is how ads ruin everything. Adsense called and begged me to enable it on this very popular blog and I told them NO.

All jokes aside, ads just ruin the user experience. Unless you have an ad with a busty broad. Otherwise, ads ruin EVERYTHING. They're too loud, too annoying and a nuisance. I decided this blog will be ad free. If you'd like to flick a few bucks this way, feel free to contact me and I'll send you a link. If you'd prefer sending crypto instead, I can do that too. More posts on crypto coming up in the future as it seems crypto is making a comeback after being down in the dumps.

So back to advertising. They're loud, obnoxious, bright and piss me off. Frankly, I hate TV and have never spent my…

One post a day

One post a day means 365 posts a year, which isn't too bad if someone finds this blog a year or two later as they will have enough material to read.
Let's see how this works out. For some it's youtube videos but for me, it's writing.
